House District 7 is small geographically but extremely dense in population. Referred to as the Far Northeast of Denver, HD 7 encompasses the neighborhoods the furthest east in Denver, the land annexed from Adams county nearly 40 years ago. The FNE too is the area of Denver proper that has the most open land to build new development. Primarily residential, the FNE has also anthropologically been described as exurban or a bedroom community, where most people sleep but work and play elsewhere.
