As an African American woman, I recognized from an early age my duty to fight for the success of people despite their zip code, skin color, or aspirations in life.

Because of this, I sought to educate in the classroom, build power with families as a community organizer and attorney, and partner with neighbors to draft and pass effective legislation. I am running to continue to serve as your State Representative.
